Tartarini Auto is a stock company that was established in the year 2000. Its culture however dates back to sixty years ago when, its founder, Mr. Aleardo Tartarini set-up the company.

Over the past sixty years the historical company of Bologna has developed the advantages of exploiting gas, a source of power of minimised environmental impact, becoming specialised in the production of LPG and CNG conversion systems.

From the beginning up to date, in Italy and worldwide, Tartarini Auto has amazingly contributed in the research and evolution of advanced technologies for the use of natural and liquid gas, that has become a very popular alternative source of power.

The experience acquired with the participation in major projects promoted in various countries has set Tartarini Auto in a leading position in this sector and has consolidated its presence in the national and worldwide markets. The company has indeed kept up to date with the technological progress of vehicles as it avails of skilled personnel and absolutely modern equipment.

The company, situated in Castel Maggiore (BO) over an area of 15000 m², employs 50 staff members together with around thirty outside suppliers.

The business boasts a yearly production of over 300.000 LPG and CNG conversion systems that trades in after market, 0 km and OEM. In the year 2000 Tartarini Auto ended its financial year with an increase of 30%, equal to a turnover of 53.000.000.000, of which 71% was achieved abroad. This growth has also met with an increase in employees in the research and development field.

Tartarini Auto S.p.A is specialised in the design and production of mechanical and electronic components for LPG and CNG vehicle conversion systems.

The range of Tartarini Auto products includes conventional systems for carburetor, injection and catalyst injection vehicles together with an absolutely new gas injection system called Etagas.

The new electronically operated devices for catalyst injection vehicles easily comply with the rather strict EURO 3 and EURO 4 anti-pollution standards. All our products meet the most recently issued European and worldwide standards.

The trademark is now well known worldwide thanks to the capillary distribution network and to the authorised workshops. Installers of Tartarini Auto systems are highly skilled and qualified thanks to periodic training courses organised and held in-house. Tartarini Auto also offers technical service via telephone and Internet.

Tartarini Auto not only guarantees the reliability of its products through major insurance companies but also offers a separate insurance policy for the actual conversion of the vehicle, or rather for the jobs carried out by the installer over the first year of life of the system.
